What's Next On The List?

A big part of what makes the BAA a great organization is the constant drive to "move it forward."  Our kids grow through our sports programs - from their T-Ball days of filling their gloves with stone dust to eventually making ESPN highlight plays in Babe Ruth.  And it's the same journey for the many BAA members, volunteers, coaches and parents. While our kids are involved, we are involved.  It goes by so fast.  And during that time, we are the caretakers.  It is our responsibility and privilege to pick up where the last group of volunteers left off, and during our time, "move it forward".  Passing it off to the next group better and stronger than it was before.

There has been much accomplishment and transformation over the years.  From one Little League field at the Berkley Common years ago, to an ever improving complex and a great soccer program for today's kids.  And that progress will continue.  So the next time you hear about a BAA project, please raise your hand and get involved. It's actually fun, incredibly rewarding and part of our collective responsibility to our kids - and for the next generation of kids to enjoy.
