Register Now for the 2021-2022 Recreation & Travel Basketball Season!
Please take a moment to review important information about our upcoming Recreation and Travel Basketball Season.
Please register as soon as you can. The sooner we get registrations in, the sooner we can start identifying the need for coaches based on numbers. Registering now will ensure we can determine the right number of teams and coaches needed. Registration closes 10/31/21. Recreation Basketball Fees:
1st & 2nd Grade Instructional Coed = $100
3rd - 8th Grade = $135
Family Max = $260
(If you are going to hit the family max, add all to the cart and STOP there. Please email [email protected] to make the adjustment and once completed you will be able to finalize the registration.
Time Commitment:
1st & 2nd Grade will play for 1 hour on Saturday mornings between 8-10 am starting early December until mid March.
3rd-8th Grade will have 1 hour practice during the week and 1 hour games on Saturday any time mid-morning/afternoon.
Travel Basketball:
Fees:
$175 for all divisions. Travel Basketball is a separate registration order and does not count toward the family max. However, in order to participate in travel basketball, players must play in the recreational program. Based on our smaller participation numbers at some ages, we combine grade levels as needed to create full teams. These combined age levels play in Metro West at the higher grade level.
Season Dates:
Registration - open until October 31st
Practices Start – Mid November
Weekly Games Start - Early December
Season End - Mid-Late March
Coaches Needed! We are always looking for additional coaching help - especially for the Instructional Division. With a high number of players participating in this program, more volunteer coaches mean more individual instruction! At this level, no prior knowledge or experience is required - simply a willingness to get involved with your child and others to create fun times and special memories.
Team Sponsor opportunity!
All teams will have their own team t-shirts. Cost to sponsor a team with business name on the back of each shirt is $200. Please contact Laura King @ [email protected] if you would like to sponsor a team. All sponsorship information must be received by November 1sto allow for printing and distribution to team players prior to the start of games. How to Register: Already have an account on the BAA site?(www.berkleyathletics.org) Just click Login to register your child and enter the username and password you previously created. (top right of the Home Page) If you have not created an account, click Register (top right of the Home Page) to register your family/parent on the site. Then you will be able to use that username and password to register individual children for specific sports activities.
